It is one of the two largest churches in Kent, has an iconic crown spire and is the repository of a significant amount of cultural and ecclesiastical history. In 2002 the spire gave its name to the ‘Built to InSpire’ church heritage project, which has developed a creative range of historical and educational resources funded through grants awarded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]These materials are produced to a high, professional standard, and have achieved national recognition for the breadth and quality of presentation and content.

The core activity of Built to InSpire is making accessible to as many people as possible, of all ages, the exploration of Christian heritage and the history and role of the church in the community.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” padding_bottom=”70″ padding_top=”35″][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]
